Equine Assisted Learning

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) is an experiential learning program that teaches essential life skills such as communication, compassion, teamwork and leadership through group and individual activities with horses. In partnership with local support service organizations, we offer multi-week series and one day workshops full of fun and laughter in a beautiful setting.

Participants report experiencing increased confidence, enthusiasm, resilience and self-awareness.

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) is for Everyone!

We can all benefit from the intuitive nature of horses!

Group sessions for team building with employees, a fun date night for couples, a great way to build connection with family or friends & school groups.

EAL sessions are delivered by a certified equine assisted learning facilitator who will help guide you through your own personal experience working with our horse teachers.

Complimenting our group sessions, Freedom Equine also customizes sessions, with care, for children, youth and adults (individuals, families or groups) who experience:

Trauma, development challenges, anxiety, depression, challenges in relationships or communication, challenges in emotion regulation, PTSD, addictions, challenging behaviour or barriers in self regulation.

Any individual or group who has interest in building and expanding self awareness can benefit from the learning and life skills experienced through EAL.
