What's happening?

Saddle up for an autumn afternoon of horses, fresh air, friendly competition and community connection! Join Freedom Equine Association  with volunteer support from Back Country Horsemen of BC — East Kootenay Chapter on October 17 for a Horse Poker Ride supporting local kids.

Proceeds will help subsidize Freedom Equine’s No School Friday Kids Camps and March Break Horse Camp, making meaningful horse experiences more accessible to children and families in our community.

Riders will follow the designated trail, collecting cards along the way to build their best poker hand. Kids and youth are welcome! All riders under 18 must wear an approved equestrian helmet.
